Our large Oil & Gas client in Calgary, AB is currently seeking a Travel Analyst to add to their team. The Travel Analyst will coordinate all aspects of travel to our clients' field locations. This is a 1-year contract.

 

 


As there will be no LOA, accommodations, or relocation reimbursement provided for this contract role, local candidates are preferred.

 

 


Responsibilities of the Travel Analyst job include, but are not limited to:

- Manage travel to site locations, including booking scheduled corporate flights, camp reservations and busing

- Manage person rosters (scheduled travel), ad-hoc travel requests, and flight and bus manifests

- Monitor and track aircraft utilization and workforce growth and/or reduction to optimize use of internally-owned aircraft fleet and create flight schedules.

- Arrange all travel and onsite logistics for site tours to our field locations

- Validate and record all aircraft and helicopter invoicing to ensure accurate coding for consistent reporting.

- Manage day to day service & relationships with external vendors relating to Air & Ground Transportation.

- Support and contribute to vendor selection, request for proposals and service level agreements.

- Ensure compliance by monitoring the use of preferred suppliers including approved air charter and helicopter companies, commercial airlines, hotel & ground transportation providers.

- Work and collaborate with key stakeholders such as Health & Safety, Security and Senior Leadership companywide to ensure continuous improvement.

- Ensure internal Travel website is maintained and kept up to date.

- Support Emergency Response Plans (24/7 on call support).

 

 


Travel Analyst Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Aviation and Transportation regulations.

- Planning and forecasting skills necessary to efficiently optimize flight and bus schedules.

- Proven success at building constructive working relationships with others from all levels of the organization and with external vendors and service providers.

- Demonstrates initiative to identify and implement ongoing process improvements.

- Strong computer skills are required – Advanced Excel and Word and experience with database systems are essential.

- Post-secondary diploma in travel or related field.

- Knowledge of Logistics and/or Camp Reservations booking system as asset.

- Knowledge of Concur (Online Booking Tool) an asset.
