Roevin is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer - Development to work with our client's Switch Integrated Security Features (SISF) team in Kanata. This individual must be a Python developer and QA and should be able to write automation scripts. It is a contract of 3 months with a possibility to get extension.

Software Engineer - Development Job Requirements:

Strong understanding of TCP/IP/IPv6, routing protocols
Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodology: 3+ years deriving comprehensive test plans from requirements and user stories, and authoring and execution of test cases.
Good experience of writing test plan base on function specific
1-3 years testing network systems
1-3 years Linux Scripting (Bourne/Bash/Python)
1-3 years OOP experience (Java, C++, or similar language)

Desired Skills:

Python programming experience, other script (bash/tcl etc) programming experience
TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, security experience
Basic C/Java programming
QA Testing experience
Non-functional Testing
