Roevin is in the hunt to fill a Rotating Machinery Engineer Job in Fort McMurray, AB in Fort McMurray, AB. The ideal candidate will be a local Fort McMurray candidate, registered Mechanical Engineer with APEGA, have five years of oil & gas experience working on rotating machinery. The Rotating Machinery Engineer will be leading risk assessments and failure investigations of machinery. This contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Rotating Machinery Engineer Job Responsibilities:
• Identify and steward to bad actor solutions and reliability improvement plans
• Submit scope of work documents for maintenance activities and vendor rebuilds
• Complete assessments of rotating machinery using vibration data and results
• Act as resource on machinery and reliability concerns
• Interface with vendors and third-party vendors on a regular basis

Rotating Machinery Engineer Job Qualifications:
• Five years of experience with oil & gas Rotating Machinery
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered with APEGA either as an EIT or P.Eng.
• Relevant field experience in rotating equipment and reliability will be added asset
