Reporting to the Construction Division Manager, the Project Manager – Marine Construction will lead a diverse scope of many exciting heavy construction projects around Western Canada and Northwest Territories.

Project Manager – Marine Construction (Lower Mainland BC) Job Responsibilities:

• Direct accountability for all aspects of project performance
• Estimating and support to budgets and forecasting
• Liaising with project stakeholders (clients, regulatory bodies, sub contractors) in relation to progress and project status
• Ensuring permits are properly executed prior to commencing work activities
• Project invoicing and providing support documentation to clients
• Overseeing all aspects of HSE requirements and inspections on site
• Contributing to and uphold a positive public image and culture

Project Manager – Marine Construction (Lower Mainland BC) Job Qualifications:

• 7+ (yrs) related construction experience with 5 minimum years working directly as a project manager or similar role
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology
• Direct knowledge and experience in marine construction
• Ability to read and understand engineered design drawings
• Strong hands on leadership skills
• Exceptional communication abilities, written and verbal
• Strong work ethic that is motivated and committed to achieving division goals while supporting other lines of business
• Must be detail oriented, with a demonstrated ability to recognize discrepancies
• Must be able to work extensively through Western Canada
• Dedication to Health Safety and Environmental best practices
• Creative, forward thinking, motivating leadership style
• Excellent time management abilities
