We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager, Digital Security in Edmonton, AB for a 1-year contract opportunity with potential for an extension. Our ideal candidate will bring experience in managing the planning, execution, and implementation of digital security projects. You will be working on an exciting project for a well-known organization. Project Manager, Digital Security Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall project success through management of project quality, cost, and time constraints.
Work with senior management, project sponsors and all stakeholders to ensure business requirements and objectives are clearly documented and managed throughout the life of the project.
Facilitate working sessions to develop detailed specifications, integration and process requirements, solution design documents, test cases with acceptance criteria, and appropriate production readiness deliverables.
Manage project risk through regular quality assurance and risk reviews
Create project reporting metrics, develop project key risk indicators (and associated tolerances), aggressively track project risks, and proactively flags these risks
Develop project plans and associated communications in compliance with the Digital Project Management Framework.
Prepare agendas, lead and document weekly project status meetings with the requisite stakeholders.
Responsible for communicating digital security project related status and risks to the CISO, and all applicable internal and external stakeholders.
Provide day to day direction for resources assigned to digital security program projects.

Project Manager, Digital Security Qualifications:

5+ years of progressive experience managing technology related projects, with an emphasis on Cyber Security technology implementation projects or related technology implementations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management or Engineering, recognized in Canada. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
Excellent contract management skills.
Experience working with a Managed Security Services Provider is an advantage.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards will be a definite advantage.
Understanding of cybersecurity risk management and risk mitigation strategies.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, motivational, organizational, and planning skills.
Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
