Piping Planner-Journeyman Pipefitter job
Fort McMurray, AB

We are currently seeking an experienced Piping Planner-Journeyman Pipefitter for our large Oil and Gas client in Fort McMurray, AB. This is a contract role where local candidate are preferred as there is no LOA or camp provided for this role.

The Piping Planner-Journeyman Pipefitter responsibilities include:
•Verifying quantities or work done in the field equals quantities billed
•Verify correct Methods of Measurement were applied when work was billed
•Verify correct Condition Factors were applied when work was billed
•Verify compensation methods are being applied correctly as per Daily Force Report and time entries
•Ensure proper trade practices are being applied to work done in the field
•Verifying the contractors are working in a safe manner – intervening when witnessing unsafe behaviors
•Plan and repair the pipe system layout and installation according to specification


The Piping Planner-Journeyman Pipefitter job qualifications include:
•Journeyman Pipefitter
•5+ Years Field Experience in Oil and Gas
•Local to Fort McMurray
•Must be able to work with minimal supervision
•Previous leadership experience an asset
•Experience working with SAP
•Planning and Scheduling Experience
•Previous field cost job experience
