The Network Analyst will champion work under the guidance of the Director of Technology in coordination with the team members, and the Network Analyst is required to design, implement, provide accurate deadlines for assigned projects, and mentor colleagues. Leveraging their extensive experience as a Network Analyst.
Network Analyst Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, upgrade, and implement Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and Lasernet Reporting systems and enhancements
Provide customer service support
Develop and maintain processes for the operational support and introduction of new network technology
Identify and recommend network management tools and service along with the necessary processes to monitor and protect the network.
Performance reporting and tuning of the network to ensure optimal usage.
Responsible for the capacity planning of the appropriate network.
Ensure that issues with networks are resolved in a timely manner.
Reduce chronic outages through identification and root cause analysis.
Show leadership in evolving the practices methodology.
Introduce new network/mobility/voice technologies, hardware or software that will create value.
Be able to assist IT projects as a subject matter expert and reference for new designs, implementations and technologies.
Create and maintain documentation regarding network configuration, operating procedures, and service records relating to technology infrastructure hardware (and software).
Manage the implementation of network initiatives.
Required to remain current with cutting edge development techniques and best practices
Required to remain current with software versions currently being used
Update software documentation and provide well written guides for end users
Contact vendors and outside resources as required for support
Perform other related duties as assigned
Network Analyst Qualifications:
Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Software Development/IT
5+ years direct work experience in a network infrastructure role
Experience managing 100+ server environment (including Virtual machines and Physical hardware)
Experience managing a network infrastructure encompassing multiple locations
Experience managing a multi domain controller environment (multiple AD sites) with strong knowledge of Active Directory
University degree or college diploma in the field of Computer Science or related technical experience with diploma/degree
Experience with PowerShell and or Python is considered an asset
Citrix Xenapp and/or Netscaler experience is considered an asset
Experience with Advanced Persistent Threat endpoint security solutions is considered an asset
Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls is considered an asset
Advanced knowledge of datacenter design including SAN/Server/Virtualization is considered an asset
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
Ability to continuously upgrade skills to adapt new technology and software requirements
Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision
Ability to document issues and suggest solutions
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to work on and manage multiple projects, meets deadlines, and creatively solves problems
Ability to work closely with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills over wide variety of media
