Our client is looking for a Millwright/Millwright Apprentice who has a strong background in Welding.

Position: Millwright 433A or 3rd or 4th year Apprentice
Location: Innisfil, ON
Salary: $35/hr Licensed and $30/hr for Apprentice
Shift: Day and Afternoon

Millwright Job - Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Coordinate tasks/activities on day shift to achieve minimum downtime and maximum efficiency
- Perform where applicable: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and make any necessary adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing dutie

Millwright Job Qualifications:

- Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) Certification from an accredited Post-Secondary program
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Industrial Electrician Apprentice or License considered an asset
- Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB)
- MP2 knowledge would be an asset
