Roevin is in the hunt to fill a Mechanical Planner/Scheduler Job in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will have ten years as a Planner/Scheduler experience within oil sands projects, superior working knowledge of SAP, and has a Red Seal Millwright or Pipefitter ticket. The Mechanical Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for providing job plans, packages and scheduling support for all Maintenance and Reliability job packages for equipment in Ore Preparation Plants, Extraction Units, River Water Intake systems, Fine Thickened Tailings plants and Dredges projects. This is a one-year contract with a schedule of Monday to Friday and occasional site visits.

Mechanical Planner/Scheduler Job Responsibilities:
• Develop schedule, cost estimates and equipment planning for Maintenance and Reliability work
• Plan, estimate, track and schedule Field Changes Order (FCO)
• Plans and schedules any Routine Maintenance work required
• Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams

Mechanical Planner/Scheduler Job Qualifications:
• Ten years of industry experience as a Mechanical Planner/Scheduler
• Red Seal Millwright or Pipefitter Journeyman ticket
• Superior working knowledge of SAP
• Expert knowledge of Maintenance processes and oil sands maintenance programs
• Knowledgeable of the Alberta Utility codes and mining regulations
• Familiarity with heavy industry planning, scheduling and execution concepts
• Ability to travel to site approximately 2-5 days per month
