Mechanical Planner Job in Fort McMurray, AB

Roevin is in the hunt to fill a Mechanical Planner Job in Fort McMurray, AB. The ideal candidate will be a Fort McMurray local, have five years as a Planner/Scheduler experience on a live plant working with multi-discipline teams, and superior working knowledge of Primavera P6. The Mechanical Planner will be planning to facilitate efficient execution of maintenance activities. This is a long-term contract with a 5 Days On, 2 Days off rotation.

Mechanical Planner Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute in the development of the maintenance plans from inception to completion
• Develop estimated cost for each job, including all support and indirect costs
• Confirm availability of Turnaround materials, spare parts and equipment
• Report deviations to plans, schedules, forecasts and performance
• Track components and arrange repair and return of equipment

Mechanical Planner Job Qualifications:
• Five years of industry experience as a Planner on mechanical projects
• Previous experience on live plants
• Mechanical Journeyperson Trades, Technologist or Engineer education/ticket
• Superior working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Previous experience as an owner representative considered an asset
• Knowledge of Maintenance processes and oil sands maintenance programs
