Maintenance Planner

We are recruiting to fill a contract Maintenance Planner Job in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be local to the Greater Toronto Area, have a minimum ten years of experience as a Maintenance Planner on industrial project (petrochemicals, oil & gas, etc.). The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities ensuring efficient resource utilization, excellent coordination between operations (equipment readiness/permitting), material availability, construction equipment support, and labor crew (skills) composition and assignment.



This is a six-month contract opportunity with a schedule of Monday to Friday.



Maintenance Planner Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule any Routine Maintenance work

• Plan complex job and develop resource plan across all disciplines

• Apply advanced functions of Planning & Estimating Tools

• Provide input to maintenance work Contracting/Procurement strategy

• Develop a complete job plan with materials, resources, and timeline

• Provide input into material of construction selection and management.

• Plan, estimate, track, and schedule Field Order Changes (FCO)



Maintenance Planner Job Qualifications:

• Minimum ten years of Maintenance Planning experience on industrial projects

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Journeyman trade ticket

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs

• Proficient in scheduling and planning software
