Maintenance Engineer Specialist Job

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer Specialist I for our large Oil and Gas client in Edmonton, AB. This role will manage the site systems including maintenance, repairs and inspections of assigned areas. You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of maintenance techniques to deliver a high-quality facility.

The successful candidate will have experience with preparing Engineering work packages to repair or replace existing Piping Systems compliant to ASME B31.3. As well as experience with pressure vessels such as tows exchangers, drum and boilers and working knowledge of ASME PCC-2 would be considered an asset.

Maintenance Engineer Specialist job responsibilities include:
•Technical management of site systems including maintenance, repairs and inspections
•Analysis of operations data to identify, develop and implement continuous improvement resulting in increased quality and lower operating costs.
•Champion Safety, Security, Health, and Environment on site
•Verifying Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) projects, efficiencies
•Manage Maintenance & Reliability projects to a high level of quality within safety, OIMS, and Control expectations.
•Development of project scope, cost estimates, schedules, and implementation of maintenance projects
to improve facility systems
•Participate in project planning and permitting
•Development, implementation and monitoring of operations procedures for maintenance and repair.
•Analysis of operational data for trends and opportunities to improve maintenance
•Manage execution of M&R activities within a designated budget.
•Perform other field maintenance and engineering duties as required.
•Technical management of facility systems which could include: central plant, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, potable water, wastewater
•Monitor analysis of site utility spending and usage

Maintenance Engineer Specialist job qualifications include:
•Working knowledge of facility management and technical disciplines and codes
•Knowledge of facility related regulatory requirements
•Maintenance Engineering Experience of 5-10 Years in Oil & Gas Industry
•Experience with preparing Engineering Work Packages to Repair or Replace existing Piping Systems compliant to ASME B31.3
•Experience with preparing Engineering Work Packages to Repair ASME VIII Div 1 Pressure Vessels such as Towers, Exchangers, Drums & Boilers
•Working knowledge of Cesar, PV Elite would be considered an asset
•Working knowledge of ASME PCC-2 would be considered an asset
