Maintenance Coordinator


We are in the hunt to fill a contract Maintenance Coordinator Job in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be local to Toronto, open to travel for work, a journeyman ticket, and have a minimum of three years of experience as a Coordinator coordinating multi-discipline mechanical trades within the oil & gas industry. The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordinating multi-disciplinary field execution of contract trades employed in the repair, adjustment, modification, removal and/or installation of plant equipment and facilities while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

This is a contract opportunity with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Maintenance Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate the daily work plan strategy

• Ensure jobs are complying and executed according to the job plan

• Assist with materials or parts sourcing and procurement

• Be a single point of contact for contractors during supervised execution

• Ensure daily job updates are communicated to other Maintenance Coordinator

• Promote Contractor safety

• Facilitate/attend contractor toolbox talks

• Review and approve contractor time sheets

Maintenance Coordinator Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of field coordination or supervision experience

• Mechanical discipline Journeyman ticket

• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word, and SAP or CMMS systems

• Planning and scheduling experience

• Prior Terminal knowledge, or any of the following designation/skills

• Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) designation
