Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the development, maintenance and administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including training new personnel. He/She will be planning and scheduling preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency.

Maintenance Coordinator - Responsibilities:
- Work in a team environment and be a team player
- Continuous liaison with maintenance staff and external suppliers in a professional manner
- Develop and keep CMMS up-to-dated in regards to Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance Program, Planning and Scheduling Activities, Inventory Control, Purchasing Orders and Work Order System
- Enhance department performance, productivity and cost control, ensuring timely and efficient execution of work orders are being achieved
- Trend analysis, tracking and forecasting to determine life cycles of equipment and critical spare part
- Prepare and deliver daily maintenance planned work, including work orders, spare parts and tool list to execute routine preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
- Manage and crib spare parts for regular Preventive Maintenance or Special Projects
- Regular meeting with Production and Maintenance Personnel to review PM schedule, Planning Jobs and Findings from previous work orders
- Keep Maintenance Supervisor/Manager informed for any changes into PM Program, Daily Scheduled Work and/or Special Projects
- Contact Suppliers and initiate purchasing of spare parts/stock item to ensure availability and that prescribed inventory levels are maintained
- Continuous liaison with maintenance, engineering and external suppliers
- Assist Maintenance Manager with the department budget including capital preparation, monitoring expenditures and preparing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
- Achieve preventative maintenance objectives and goals for ISO standard
- Required to back-up and perform Materials Coordinator duties periodically
- Manage maintenance data collection and keep files organized regularly
- Be responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment
- Track, analyse, and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and Atlantic Packaging Products Policies and Procedures
- Other related duties as required.




Maintenance Coordinator - Qualifications:
- Post-secondary Diploma in a related discipline, trades certification or related experience.
(5) years of maintenance planning, inventory, and administration experience within a manufacturing environment is a requirement
- Excellent technical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and strong computer skills are pre-requisites
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
