Logistics Coordinator Job in Edmonton, AB

Roevin is currently looking to fill a Logistics Coordinator Job in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator on oil & gas projects. The Logistics Coordinator will facilitate materials management schedule alignment through purchase order tracking and direct vendor interface. This is a long-term contract with a work schedule of Monday to Friday.

Logistics Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

* Verify materials availability for all scheduled outage/planned and emergent work

* Coordinate effective and efficient logistics requirements for Routine and Shutdown work

* Consult with Procurement and vendors to develop best practices, procedures and standards

* Provide frequent updates on material availability to required parties

* Identify opportunities to consume Business Line Materials and destock inventory

* Influence B/L to select materials on hand or from preferred vendors

* Identify SAP data issues

Logistics Coordinator Job Qualifications:

* 10 years of Logistics or closely related professional experience

* Extensive Warehouse and Inventory Management experience

* Broad knowledge of SAP material catalogs and search tools

* General knowledge of how and where materials are used in the plant

* Advanced time management skills

* Problem solving skills and advanced written/oral communications skills
