Instrumentation Engineer job in Fort McMurray, AB

We are searching to fill an Instrumentation Engineer job in Fort McMurray, AB. The ideal candidate will be a local to Fort McMurray with five years of experience as an Instrumentation Engineer role within oil & gas projects. The Instrumentation Engineer will be developing equipment strategies improve reliability and productivity. This a long-term contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Instrumentation Engineer Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze Instrumentation equipment data & information to produce end of life strategies
• Complete engineering work packages for equipment reliability improvements
• Participate in risk analysis work activities, develop engineering solutions for various issues
• Review equipment test results and advise on the frequency & scope of maintenance activities
• Provide technical support for incident investigations

Instrumentation Engineer Job Qualifications:
• Five years of Instrumentation & Controls experience
• Experience in oil sands or petroleum refining industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with APEGA
• Maintenance or Reliability Engineering experience considered an asset
