Help Desk Support Job in Vancouver, BC

Roevin is seeking to fill a Help Desk Support role in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience as a Help Desk Support professional.

Help Desk Support Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Mandatory shift work required including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work independently at all times
• Work with users and other technical personnel to resolve problems
• User management via Active Directory
• Answers telephone support requests
• Manage assigned tickets in a timely fashion
• Assumes responsibility for tasks assigned to them and ensures proper technical solutions have been applied
• Work with users and other technical personnel to resolve problems
• Participates in system maintenance, upgrades, etc
• Installs / upgrades business applications
• Supports remote access (Citrix, VPN, WAN) to business applications
• Supports corporate email on mobile devices
• Creates and updates technical documents for knowledge database

Help Desk Support Job Qualifications:
• Must be client facing
• Expert communication and an eagerness to learn
• College Diploma or University Degree or related work experience
• Strong IT background
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Good understanding of hardware
• Minimum 3 years of technical support experience
• A+ Certification considered an asset
