Facilities Coordinator Job in Vancouver, BC

Roevin is looking for a Workplace Services Facilities Coordinator who will work directly with the Workplace Services Lead to maintain and improve the day to day office services, facility operations, and facilitate organizational change by planning and executing tenant improvement projects and internal office moves. This individual will partner with and form a cooperative relationship and interface between building management, engineering, and/or those responsible for maintenance and operation of the facility. Additionally, the Workplace Services Facilities Lead is a local representative of the Real Estate and Workplace Services team and will be assisting with covering the front desk operations, office administration, and event support.

• Assist with regular maintenance and general upkeep throughout facility to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Follow best practice and safety standards for all facilities related tasks.
• Handle all incoming requests by responding to clients and resolving the issues, ensuring successful completion.
• Identify health and safety hazards, maintenance and repair issues and take appropriate action to remedy findings with prompt notification to management.
• Support the documentation and implementation of workplace operating guidelines.
• Performs weekly facility inspections, and update repair and maintenance task lists.
• Coordinate and execute employee churn and business unit moves, support conference room & event table setups and configurations to meet the needs of internal/external trainings and meetings.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• BS/BA degree or equivalent of education, training, and experience in facilities planning.
• 3+ years experience in a Facilities or Office Services role.
• Competent in G-Mail and Google Calender.
• Proficient in Excel, and basic accounting.
• Familiarity with coordinating outside contractors in support of facility operations and maintenance.
• Previous Customer service experience is necessary.
