Roevin is looking to hire a full time Enterprise Integration Specialist for our client in North York. The Enterprise Integration Specialist will participate in the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and technologies within the client's environment.



Enterprise Integrations Specialist Responsibilities:Participate in planning of integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.

Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment.

Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new application integration technologies into the existing AI environment.

Identify and resolve systems issues.

Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.

Identify common patterns and document best practices for integration.

Research and make recommendations on integration products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.

Participate in integration testing phase of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential problem areas.

Assist application software developers and engineers in development of APIs to interact with the AI environment.

Build relationships with other application analysts to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality.

Build relationships with vendors of application software deployed in Bayshore's IT environment to both learn about and provide feedback on their technical integration capabilities.

Continually develop skills in the integration technologies in place in the AI environment, as well as staying informed on new developments in integration technology.

Design, develop, and deploy solutions within the client's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.

Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.

Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions to provide proactive operational support in the AI environment.

Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.

Ensure issue resolution is done in a proper manner and completed on-time.

Perform other duties, as assigned.

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet support requirements.

Occasional travel to client sites required.

 




Formal Education & CertificationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, College Diploma, or 2+ years equivalent training or experience.

 

 

 


Enterprise Integration Specialist Qualifications: 8+ years direct experience in enterprise-level application integration.

Extensive experience with modernizing on-prem legacy applications portfolio including right-sizing, converting to SaaS/PaaS/Containerized workloads, or to lift-and-Shift to IaaS

Extensive experience with integrating legacy applications like older versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, third party solutions and home grown .Net applications with SAP hosted in Azure

Extensive experience with integrating SaaS based workloads with each other, with SAP hosted in Azure and with on-prem legacy applications

Competency and working knowledge with microservice architecture as well as serverless and containerized workloads in Azure.

Cloud experience in AWS/Azure/GCP would be nice to have

Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.

Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.

Technically fluent in programming languages, including .NET, C#, PHP

Background in risk management methodologies as they relate to integration/software engineering.

Familiarity with various software development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools.

Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.

Competency with XML and JSON constructs and schemas.

Confidence and experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.

Experience with securing integration scenarios using appropriate authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and data encryption methods.

Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Knowledge of network protocols and standards.

Understanding of end-user needs and requirements.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record
