Electrical Engineer Job in Fort McMurray, AB

We are in the hunt to fill an Electrical Engineer Job in Fort McMurray, AB. The ideal candidate will be local to Fort McMurray, a registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with APEGA, and have a minimum of five years of experience in oil sands or petroleum refining industry. The Electrical Engineer will facilitate development of equipment strategies, analyzes data and utilizes risk-based work selection principles to drive longer term improvements. This is long-term contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
• Develop equipment strategies utilizing RCM3 methodology
• Coordinate resources for equipment strategies as per the endorsed plan
• Analyze data & historical information to produce equipment end of life strategies
• Review results and advise on frequency & scope of maintenance activities
• Provide technical support for incident investigations

Electrical Engineer Job Qualifications:
• Five years of experience in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in in oil sands or petroleum refining industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with APEGA
