Construction Project Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an Project Administrator located in Etobicoke, ON for an on-going contract opportunity. Our ideal candidate has five years of experience as an Project Administrator for PMO projects. You will be working for a fast-growing company with a dynamic culture and excellent benefits. This is a unique opportunity for an energetic individual who is looking to grow both in this field and their career.

Project Administrator Responsibilities include:

Submits subsistence forms if necessary
Assists with payment application to owner
Process (code, forward or approve) invoices via Workflow
Prepares submittals
Sets up local vendors (trash service, water service, etc.)
Sets up local accounts for out of town projects
Compiles and maintains an inventory management log of material requisitions to include date requested, requestor, material ordered, vendor, date ordered and date(s) & quantity received
Maintains new employee/safety orientation sign-off sheets
Reviews project orientation package with new employees
Submits paperwork for new hires and layoffs
Completes and submits payroll time sheets
Provides management with accurate manpower reports
Maintains employee training and certification records

Project Administrator Lead Qualifications:

Practices good communication skills
Assembles documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals for review
Assembles routine reports and correspondence provided by others
Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions
Organizes and manages time, duties and activities efficiently
Ability to perform routine tasks
