The Business Support Coordinator near Fort McMurray, AB. is a full-time contract position with our Oil and Gas client. Reporting to the Sr. Business Support Coordinator, this position is responsible for providing the overall Asset professional business support on the end to the end process. This position will facilitate and enable on-site on-boarding/off-boarding of full-time and external service contactors including validation of service and time entry.

Responsibilities of the Business Support Coordinator job include:

- Responsible for effective and efficient on-site on-boarding/off-boarding of Maintenance/SWS full time and external contractors including; submission of mobilizations utilizing I-request, coordination of IS (hardware & computer) access requirements, flights, lodging, vehicle passes, training.
- Work in partnership with major on-site Contractors in daily/weekly reconciliation of hours between contractor and vendor systems and addressing discrepancies in a timely fashion.
- Provide on-going cyclical support for Full Time Maintenance/SWS Contractors including; booking all flights according to shifts, contractor reclassifications and mobilization accuracy, accommodation report validation, accommodation waitlists (working with My Travel and OS/IS Business Services) and ensuring contractor training records are updated.
- Input all Leadership Commitment Program (LCP) information for applicable area.
- Prepare and maintain required Maintenance reports; weekly head counts, daily contractor swipe compliance, overtime, monthly LCP report and M&R reports as requested.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement.
- Ensure Maintenance Contractor manpower availability is reconciled on a weekly basis for 6 week look-ahead
- Single point of contact for Contractors and team for area for professional business support

Key Requirements:
- Business Administration Diploma or Degree preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience in a business support role
- High proficiency and understanding of SAP (knowledge of different SAP modules in Time Entry, Finance, Mobilizations and Plant Maintenance preferred)
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with Vendors, Directors, and Managers as required.
- Ability to exercise non-authoritative leadership skills across functional boundaries to resolve issues
- Strong ability to work and manage multiple priorities on a consistent basis
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Working Considerations:

- Term: ASAP – May 31 depending on business need
- Start Date approx. mid December 2018
- 4/3 rotation 10 hour days, camp based. Flights from Edmonton or Calgary
