ROEVIN (Engineering, Skilled Trades and IT recruitment) is looking to fill a 2nd class power engineer position for our client. Position is full time permanent. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.


2nd class power engineer - Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe continuous operation of 2 high pressure boilers and related boiler equipment
- Additional equipment includes 3 Kaiser compressors, desiccant and refrigerator driers
- Water treatment- two softeners and one RO unit
- Following all company polices as described in the employee handbook
- Performing other duties as required


2nd class power engineer - Requirements:
- Must have a 2nd Class Operating Engineer Licence
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including weekends
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have good organization skills
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Is a team player and results oriented
