  1. Initially, we carry out a structured qualification process based on CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) criteria. The objectives are to determine an appropriate classification, and to provide input and guidance with the goal of ensuring the IC becomes compliant.
  2. Once a determination has been made, the second step is to validate all appropriate documentation, typically including the following:
    • Education or trade verification
    • Professional status
    • Prior employment verification
    • Business references
    • Valid GST registration, limited company
    • Validate WCB compliance and operating insurances
    • Completed and signed Independent Contractor agreement
    • Ongoing monitoring of documentation
