Roevin is conscious that our business impacts the lives of millions of people in Canada and around the globe. Work is a basic need and right, as well as a source of societal well-being.

Our efforts to make the world a better place can be seen in the partnerships and alliances we've formed, the environmental policies we've committed to, and the programs we've developed.

IOC/IPC Athlete Career Program

IOC/IPC Athlete Career Program

Since 2005, Roevin’s parent, The Adecco Group, has been reaching out to athletes around the world—including Canada—with career training and job placement opportunities that enhance their prospects for success beyond athletic competition.

The Adecco Group works closely with the International Olympic Committee [IOC] and the International Paralympic Committee [IPC] to provide athletes with the education, life skills, career and job placement opportunities they need to successfully transition into the workplace.

Win4Youth

Win4Youth

Win4Youth is an annual global initiative, launched by The Adecco Group in 2010. Roevin employees and clients who participate in Win4Youth log their kilometres while swimming, biking or running. The kilometres are converted to dollars and donated to charities that help people who struggle to find work because of their age, background, disability or other factors.

Over the last five years, we've donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities. We want to surpass our 2016 total of US$450,000 by going even farther this year—4.3 million kilometres. That’s like walking, running or biking around the circumference of the earth 107 times!

Commitment to diversity

Commitment to diversity

Roevin ensures that everyone has opportunities, regardless of gender, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, age or disability. We actively seek affiliations with community organizations whose values align with ours, and we've also developed several programs that are integrated into our regular sourcing methodology to meet the needs of Canada's multicultural workforce. These initiatives attest to our belief in the importance of creating an atmosphere where everyone is comfortable and able to realize their fullest potential.

The environment

The environment

We are committed to preserving the environment. That's why, in 2010, each member of The Adecco Group, including Canada, started collecting data to measure our carbon footprint based on:

  • Electrical energy consumption
  • Company car mileages and air miles flown
  • Paper and toner consumption
  • Computers bought and replaced

Also, since 2007, The Adecco Group has also been a member of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) which is an independent non-profit organization holding the largest database of primary corporate climate change information in the world. As part of the CDP, we annually measure, disclose, manage, and share environmental information on the CDP website. The Adecco Group has set a long-term CO2 reduction target of 12% by 2022 (base year 2012).

Developing expertise

Developing expertise

We regularly consult internal and external stakeholders, as well as our clients, about trends and developments that most heavily affect them, and we document our findings in studies and whitepapers that we make readily available. Our research and best practices help professionals achieve even greater success and enable organizations and regions to prepare for tomorrow's workforce, ultimately raising employability, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
