The Privacy Officer is available to offer more information on our practices and policies, to ensure compliance by everyone at Roevin Technical People and to rectify any complaints. Roevin Technical People’s Privacy Officer will review any new processes, procedures or practices affecting the privacy of our employees, our suppliers and our clients to ensure they are compliant with our Privacy Policy.

Roevin Technical People’s Privacy Officer commits to being aware and knowledgeable about any changes in the Canadian privacy legislation and to ensuring Roevin Technical People consistently meets or exceeds the privacy requirements.

 

Information Protection, Identification and Consent - Roevin Technical People maintains that it will identify the purpose(s) for collecting personal information and inform the affected individuals of the intended purpose. When the intended use for the collected information involves releasing it to an interested third party, Roevin Technical People will ensure the individual grants consent before any information is released. Consent for these purposes can be either explicit or implicit depending on the sensitivity of the information. Third party suppliers have been instructed to follow the same guidelines. In addition, the information, while retained, will be secured by appropriate safeguards relevant to the sensitivity of the information.

 

Accuracy - Roevin Technical People will make every effort to ensure personal information remains current and is updated internally and with third party suppliers in a timely manner. Individuals are expected to update Roevin Technical People with any changes to their personal information. The information will only be updated when required for the intended, previously informed purposes.

 

Openness - Roevin Technical People will provide further information about its policy or practices upon request. Individual Access – Upon request, Roevin Technical People will release the personal information retained by the organization to the individual that the information is about, along with the use and disclosure of any personal information.

Requests that would prove prohibitively costly to provide

Challenging Compliance - Individuals of whom Roevin Technical People holds personal information have the right to file a challenge about the company’s compliance with Privacy legislation. Roevin Technical People will consider all requests serious and will investigate any complaint thoroughly.
