Roevin Engineering and Technology is currently seeking an Electrician in the Toronto area to work with our client who with over 100 years of existence have proven to be a leader in multiple industries. The Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Execute and plan maintenance and address break-in work
Actively participate in the planning process to ensure that the right work is being completed at the right time by the right resources
Execute work as scheduled by planners
Document control according to Maintenance Best Practices
Maintenance work documentation and status updates in system
Reviews new and adds to backlog to ensure that high priority work is addressed
Execute jobs effectively by providing necessary system updates and entries
Solution based response and ability to assess priority to issues
Be involved in root cause analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting
Health and safety reporting
Work collaboratively with other technical and operational resources
Interface with Electrical and Instrumentation Coordinator and other maintenance leaders for coaching and direction setting

The Electrician qualifications include but are not limited to:

Certificate of Qualification - Industrial (or Construction) Electrician
Licensed Instrumentation techs with experience considered an asset
Manage small projects
Able to work in fast paced production environment
Strong computer skills for automation, controls, instrumentation and PLC experience required (Allen-Bradley Controllogix Systems preferred)
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
Team oriented
Attention to detail
Ability to work a rotating shift
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with management and team
Dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
